Meh. Not really loving this method. First, I think it would smell really bad. Second, wear gloves so your hands don't smell and get stained. thirdly, less product for more control. He is really gobbing it on. Fourthly, it's going to work wonders on THAT fig, but what about application on more refined products? How would you ever take this method over to another model that has an intricate paint job? How does the minwax respond to other companies paints? What if there is an adverse reaction and a color change? I think I would just rather keep to products that are intended to be used on figs with fine-quality paints. Just my thoughts.
